The following questions are known to be related to Darrtown's past.


If you can provide any information about these questions or have other questions related to Darrtown, please contact the Darrtown.com webmaster.

1. Did the Milford Township high school, which was located, have official colors? If it did, what were the colors? From a few documents (mostly photographs, it appears the the official colors were blue and gold or blue and yellow. However, no definitive answer has surfaced.


2. Did Darrtown High School have an official mascot or team name? If it did, what was it?


3. What caused a small section of shingles on the Darrtown Lutheran church roof to "bubble" or rise above adjacent shingles?


4. What was the name of the implement company that occupied the Darrtown High School building, after the school closed?


5. Who were the "Rebekahs" of Darrtown? A reference to this group appears in a narrative regarding Peter Vinson; the citation reads, that Peter Vinson "was fraternally affiliated with the Masons and Odd Fellows at Hamilton and Oxford and the Rebekahs at Darrtown."

NOTE: On April 23, 2013, Rick Martin shared the following:


"I believe in the back row 3rd from left is John Darr , he was blind in one eye , Luther [McVicker] and Ben Bufler mentioned this.


I believe in back row, far right is Ben Bufler, I know he was also in the band.


"Cheesy" [Brincefield] in the middle was crippled and my mother delivered newspapers for him."
